Real poker is not your casual play. I spent about a year of intense study, reading and playing even before I started winning.

I've bought about $10,000 in new furniture, a pontoon boat, riding mower, a $7000 trip to Vegas and played in the WSOP twice. All courtesy of playing poker. Not bad for a hobby. I haven't played seriously since 2007 mainly because of health reasons and a crazy woman. But I'm ready to get back into it. There's a picture of $21K I won in Tunica, MS in my album.

I know many college people have. I use to promote college players.

I know one student that found a software glitch at a newer online casino back in 2006. A certain situation and you could triple click on a button of a video poker machine and you would rack up money. Him and six college buddies worked together and cashed $220,000 before they caught on. He bragged about it on our poker forum. He bought a new Vette too. There was nothing the casino could do being out of our jurisdiction and all.

Nice take in the Tunica tourney. :biggrin_25519:

I'm strictly cash games. The variance involved in tourney poker annoys me.
