Boating and fishing in Tampa Bay. Off every weekend! Metal Detector searching for whatever. Found an old revolver rusted in a field where it used to be an old army fort in the 1880s. Will seek it's value through experts.

I like gardening and landscaping too. Mainly because when I was younger I was a groundskeeper at a zoo. There is a serenity to it.

That's something I always wanted to do. I think that will be my next hobby. That Forrest Fenn treasure has got my interest.

I like anything working with wood or mechanics. I have too many projects going on. I've been remodeling the house for two years now. I just finished an engine swap on a '01 F-150 I bought cheap. I love boating, camping and fishing on the lake here in the summer. I like playing in poker tournaments when I have the chance. I've played in the WSOP in five events and cashed in four. Then comes all the computer stuff. I'm even a pretty good cook.

This sounds like a dating thread, lol.

Offroading is my favorite thing to do off of work, but I'm moving back to Indiana soon so that fun will be over. I'll miss flying across the desert at high speeds.

I fly RC planes quite a bit. It's about the only hobby I've stuck with but it gets pretty expensive.

I go to school full time while running linehaul, so I have no life. And somehow I've been taking an extra sat/sun run...When I had time I was working on my private pilot's license...Turning wrenches is another hobby of mine, but I dont do it alot of late.

cleaning up 10 acres of bush, putting in a laneway, putting stone along the creek and getting ready to build my retirement home. I've built smokers but now I just use a Green Egg because I don't have time to feed a stick burner. Skidoos have given way to cross country skis, My Correct Craft only gets out once a year and I do more river canoeing now. I still have an 11 second 69 Dart but it hasn't been to the strip in 12 years but it does get fired up a couple times a year. I have an all original 67 Dart conv that my mother bought new. I traded my dirt bike on a backhoe. I have a beetle conv under resuscitation- for 4 years LOL The rest of the beetles have been sold. My last street bike was a new '72 H2 and I havent played with it since I got married in '79.
All of these things consumed my life at the time but now they don't seem so important. Fun to go back and visit them and thats why I keep the 69Dart and the stroked 383 Correct Craft. I found out that "Loud pipes cost money" and now I'd rather spend time and money with family and nature.
Oh ya, and I still have a strong runnin' cummins dodge that was a father/son project- just incase I need to move a sled somewhere. The boy doesn't have much use for it in the big city and I don't have the heart to sell it.
Kind of feel like I just wrote my memoirs....
