    Most do. My experience is 85-90% do. But I drive mostly in the west.

    Exactly the same things that can happen to you 5 miles from home, or at home.

    That is a pretty silly question, since the answer is always being dead or grossly injured.

    If you lose your job, would you rather be 5 miles from home or 2000 miles? If your company folds suddenly, would you want to be close to the house or on the opposite side of the country? Silly question, I know.
