    mr g j im glad things seem ok for u at swift i went to there school in tn last nov 06 after orientation had to wait 3 weeks for a trainer. and i use trainer loosely. but hey u have to start somewhere. the day finally came got my trk and started swift never late never turned dn loads and still only ran fron 18to 2000m a week and of course that's not counting all the dn time i had with breakdowns in my 03 volvo don't remember where i saw the post 1 to 3 yr old trks dont think so most students get the older freight liners a friend of mine drives for them his fl had 400,000 and finally broke dn two weeks ago. they put him in another fl this was better only had 325,000 anyway i have to say i gave them all i had i received nothing back nevedajim and i have talked pretty much the whole time i was swift he knows what i went threw. they even wanted me to take a ld 900 miles with a water leak and few other problems but thats another story i finally left three weeks ago and went to marten and it is great its like day and nite

    Took the DPS exam yesterday, I passed!!!!!!!!

    had 4 failures, 2 for hitting curbs and 1 for impeding traffic

    the 4th one OMG

    pulling out of the DPS parking lot he ran his trailer tires over the fender, bumper and trunk of a car pulling into the lot!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes you read that right, he ran over a car!!!

    Needless to say he failed and thrown out of school, but he did not get a ticket.

    His response was " Guess I should not be a truck driver"

    Starting orientation next week then out on the road for 6 weeks with my trainer.

    I will be starting a new post in the "Stories from the road" section and will be looking for you all at the truck stop.

    I am in the arrangement process with Swift and I would like to hear her details also. Would also like to hear anything about Werner...I know someone out there will give me the official lowdown and I would appreciate all input.....thank you NJLadyM
