I have one that stays in the ignition. One on my lanyard with my Company Id. My spare is in my jacket front zippered pocket. (During summer it is strung threw my shoe lace).

My husband's spare's is in his wallet.

Why lock the truck, then its your fault the thief had to break a window.

When I got my new freightliner this year my very first trip in it going through Wy I had locked my keys in it at a rest area. (Had a volvo where you could only lock it with the key) I was pissed. Then I remembered @Chinatown saying that any freightliner key would work. I just happened to park next to a guy who had a 2019 freightliner. Went and asked him to borrow his key. Took me less than 2 minutes of wiggling it in the passenger door to open it.

I make sure my seatbelts are runned through my door handle area and my windshield curtains are closed. That way no one can see inside my truck.

I really don't worry about someone coming in my truck when I'am sleeping, lots of the time my windows are down. They would get to met Mr. Glock if they come in.

I hit a guy in the face with my mini Dodger bat, and he got made, so now we make sure they would understand I'm not joking, I customarily put a no trespassing stick on sign on both doors, at 65 I'm not messin around with a little bat... Just a big Bang theory is better, and I sty out of Canada. I have made arrangements with the local gun store if I have a need toe send it to someone, he will take care of it for me, nice and legal like.

That’s mostly a thing for 4-wheelers. It’s very rare to hear about windows on semi trucks being broken.

I'm not worried about them stealing something. I'm a female that weighs 120lbs.
