More on truck, The truck and trailers only have 1 trailer. No fifth wheel and is very easy to drop and hook if you ever need to. The trucks we ran also stayed hooked up to the same trailer so the ABS was in top shape. The truck tank had to compartments. The front one was 3200 gallons and the rear one was either 1550 or 1650. The trailer had 3 compartments. The front one held 3250, the center held 1550 or 1650, and the rear was 2800. We could only load either the truck and move to load the trailer. Never could we load the truck and trailer at the same time like the rack was built for. I know some places wouldn't allow this but there are times you'd pull up to load the trailer then back up to load the truck. It all depended on what the guy next to you was loading. Our racks had dedicated lanes just for us. There was no problem loading the way we wanted and there were no accidents the years I spent there. If you'd like to see our trucks and all the others that run out of Las Vegas go search for Mark Wayman collection of western tanker trucks.
So why doesn't everyone drive fuel tankers?
