    could use that little piece aluminum foil from the flying j pizza and wrap the license plate. cover the plate with stick on reflectors or spot mirrors.

    Red light cameras are illegal in jersey. Have been for a few years. They had them as a trial for a while but when the trial period was over then were ruled unconstitutional and ordered all turned off.

    I asked that same question to a police officer in Phoenix. His reply was golden. "Eh, I get nailed all the time. I just ignore them."

    I don't speed or run red lights so no need in my case lol. I think Mythbusters did an episode on plate blockers and ended up busting everything you could install over the plate. No idea if a fish finder would work but its an interesting theory.

    Doesn't matter. Could've blinked for any reason (survey, coincidence etc etc). They're still active and used for other purposes, just not traffic violations.

    You have NOTHING to worry about ( as far as getting a ticket in the mail anyway).

    Alright thanks. I'm not in the habit of blowing through lights but stopping for this one would have seen me somewhere in the intersection.

    Sometimes it's the safest thing to do. Coming to a screeching halt can be just as dangerous as running a yellow light is sometimes. Every situation is different.
