I'm not in to barbque too much.
Most of its awful anyways.
Sometimes I will stop at the place behind the Petro in Little Rock, and it could always be a lot better.

I like it here......housing is pretty high but everything else isn't to bad. KC is a
working man's town......not a lot of rich people.....but most of the people are
pretty decent. I live on the Kansas side......taxes are high, wages are low.......motocross25 and bzinger Thank this. -
bzinger Thanks this.

Boss: sorry brad just another day now get your arse to work ..got people waiting on their freight and that's how this company makes money .
Its not a holiday . -
ODFL closed their terminal Monday in St. Joseph, MO....expecting up to 1 million people in the area and gridlock in all directions. Even heard they're placing porta-johns along the highway around KC metro.

Just a little heads up.
On the DFW news today, the young lady said the DFW area will be in the path of the Total solar eclipse in 2024.
So plan your route accordingly. Don't be caught off guard. No need to wait til the last minute to get into the Truck Stop and get that roller dog. Maybe you should call the TA in Denton and reserve that parking spot.striker Thanks this. -
Her math is a little off and it's not going to happen that way a solar eclipse is every 40 years I saw the last one long time ago I'm going to see this one here in a few days but she ain't going to see one in 2024 I think she's looking at lunar eclipse but I ain't going to waste anymore of my time with this I have firewood to cut and split

"PATH OF TOTALITY" Seriously, could we be anymore apocalyptic?
I have to load in Morrill, Ne. Monday at 7 am. I know people who are leaving Denver to drive to Nebraska and Wyoming at 3 am Monday. On Sunday I have to work, should be parked in Denver about 5 pm, as soon as my 10 is up, not one minute later, I will be on the road. I figure my normal 3 hr drive will take 4 hours or more. We have another driver loading in Alliance, Ne., which is dead center in the path, his appt. is 8 am, we suggested he leave at 2 am to beat the crowds.
