    Up here in northern Alberta the moon only crossed over the bottom 1/4 - 1/3 of the sun. Looked at it a few times through a welding helmet.

    We caught it here in Oregon just fine. Got quite dark, cold and totality. Surprised it didn't last long though. About two minutes.

    Grabbed a beer ..opened garage door ..put cardboard glasses on ...looked up .
    Threw glasses in trash ..closed garage ..back in recliner now .
