Pull down your sun visor. It’ll tell you usually up there.

You need to do a parked regen. If you keep driving it will start to flash, and later it will flash and the check engine light will come on.

Oftentimes, when a light would show up that I didn't understand, I would read the owners manual for the engine.

How do I do that? I tried to do it yesterday but it wasn't working.

It was at the shop, it had a check engine light and did say it needed a regen, they changed some sensor and stuff, I thought they regen it, I guess not.

Your truck will tell you when\if it needs a 'Park Regen' anytime you set your brakes.
Most times your truck will do a rolling regen while moving you can tell when that is taking place, you will have a slight loss of power & you might hear a tone difference kinda like a compressor running.
When that light comes on usually after driving for awhile & you stop, most times indicates it's finishing its burn process & the light will go out when finished.
If this continues to be a frequent issue light coming on, than there probably is another sensor bad or also might need the DPF filter removed & properly cooked in a oven.

That’s not accurate. That’s not the high exhaust temp light. The light in the pic means it’s asking for a parked regen because the soot level in the DPF is getting too high.

Set the brakes and hold the switch down for a few seconds.
