Find the switch on your dash, first make sure it’s not flipped up for some reason to disable a regen, then push it down and hold it for a few seconds. It should idle up and start a regen while you’re parked.

, um, you know, I'd go through a roll of electrical tape covering up all these "warning" lights. Those instructions on the visor( continued on passenger visor) may as well be Chinese to me. No, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. I remember when just the shift pattern decal caused confusion.
Numb and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
I tried that yesterday and it didn't work, I've seen on Google that engine temp needs to be 185F or higher for it to do a regen, it was that yesterday and it still didn't work, the one in the picture is white, shouldn't it be yellow and flashing for me to be able to do a parked regen?Last edited: Jun 3, 2025

What are the miles on the truck? If it’s around 400k, it probably needs a DPF clean and ash timer reset.nextgentrucker Thanks this.

Put your pic in a written message to the office. Tell them what you tried and ask for guidance. CYAdosgatos and nextgentrucker Thank this.

About 252,136 miles, so not much.

If you’ve had sensor problems, depending on what sensors, there’s a chance it could’ve been pumping too much def and has gummed up the filter. On my last truck I had to have my filter cleaned at roughly 200k because of a faulty NOx sensor.nextgentrucker Thanks this.

Cool, I asked the shop and they said it's regening itself and will go off automatically so let's hope it's that.ESAFO Thanks this.

Most companies don’t do proper maintenance on the emissions systems.
The Cummins system requires a DPF cleaning every 150,000 miles. Most of the others are the same. Be surprised how much of the problems get avoided by that service.nextgentrucker Thanks this. -
Feel free to look in the truck's driver manual or Google your truck make & model & a question.
nextgentrucker Thanks this.
