Hey! Another question. I'm looking to drive OTR soon and I was wondering if bigger companies make you drive team or if you have a choice in the matter? I'm not looking to lease or buy a truck until I get at least a couple years experience under my belt so I'm looking to drive company for awhile. i don't think I would like driving with another person in the truck. I'm assuming solo driver is by his/her self and team driver is with another driver and you would drive in shifts. Thank you for any advice.

Teaming is voluntary. Some companies are strictly team, so just don't hire on with one of those. Others, you can choose to team or run solo.

Some of those produce haulers are teams due to time sensitive freight. Used to some of us ran produce as a solo driver, but Elogs changed that.
