Same here. The Nissan NV3500 is going to be sitting a bunch. My Honda Trail 125 is supposed to be here Wednesday. Just in time for summer

My 2006 Chevrolet Express van is going to sit a bunch also. Best case 16 mpg. Worst, towing a car trailer 11-12 mpg.
Nope. That is $.35 a mile just for gasoline. A 25 mile round trip to the nearest Wally World costs $9.
Multiply that times the of millions of drivers making the same decision every day. It adds up to one thing.

    Driving a ‘95 Suburban with the 350 TBI(ouch).
Was using a 2004 Taurus for run around town errands, but either the fuel pump or the computer took a dump on me, not sure if I want to dump $1,300.00 +/- on the old girl, pushing 300,000 miles.
So far, using the Burb for at work errands, have been turning in the fuel recipes for reimbursement, and to date they have been paying all of them.

The dealer told me they don't do good on the freeway. Ditto everything else you said.

1200 is the one to get.

And what did GM do with that plant in Lordstown, Ohio?
Shut it down and gave it away to a company called Lordstown Motors who fantasized they could produce an EV pickup truck called the Endurant.

Where is that project now? All of the original management team is being investigated for fraud by the SEC.
They will never produce a single vehicle.

Hahaha, she loves this particular one. She’s comfortable with middle power. I’m coming off a Kawasaki Z1000, looking to get the iron 1200. I’m sure she’ll try and trade from time to time

I'm looking at buying a little 4 banger to run around town, gotta be a stick tho. No fun in an auto. Those early 2000s civics just don't die Lol.

About 15 I'm averaging with the Sierra

My 5 point slow has a liftime average of about 17. When I drive for economy I've squeezed 22 out of it on the highway.

I wouldn't mind a cheap commuter car though. I'm moving out of the city soon and my commute distance will double. On the plus side no stop & go traffic so the actual drive time is less than 5 minutes more so it might not be so bad.
