I am in Chicago. The permit and endorsement tests were pretty easy if you studied well. Learn the specific numbers.
If you don't know what that means, then study much much more!
Aside from the school papers I used this site:
http://www.cristcdl.com/
For learning, don't answer the questions. The multiple choice has confusing answers. Scroll to the bottom and click for the score. You will have 0%, obviously. But it will show the correct answer. Read and study those. Then go back a day or two late and take the test to see what you remember.
MikeeeeBeanDip Thanks this. -
And why you can't print the pdf copy?
-
When did you say you are starting? I'll be back there in Caseyville in about a week to get my truck.
-
And then what excuse would I have to buy a Kindle?
-
Sadly, not until Sept. 7 (93 days, but who's counting?). I was shooting for the end of July, but not gonna happen.

Jeez. Why so long? They start a new class every Tuesday.

I've been training with this http://www.truckingtruth.com/cdl-training-program/ it uses the Illinois CDL info which is apparently one of the most stringent states.

I used this one. http://www.cristcdl.com/otc/ This is the site Henderson uses as well. The questions on these tests are nearly word for word what you'll see in the written test at the DMV. Also, BeanDip, you do know they are changing the skill test to include parallel parking pretty soon. Not sure of the exact date but I heard some time in August.
