I know TTR has many truck drivers who are also Veterans. If any of the below applies to you I HIGHLY recommend you look at this LINK!
• Purple Heart recipients
• Former prisoners of war
• Medal of Honor recipients and those with service-connected disabilities rating of 100%
documented by the VA and Those who have a VA-documented, service-connected disability rating from 0%-90%
The process is easy. My service-connected rating was recently (finally) approved. My Son-in-Law took me to Fort Eustis, and we went to the service counter near the main gate. There they scanned my Real ID compliant ID (I don't have a driver's license) and my VHIC.
To all Veterans even though you may not have a service-connected rating. There are a lot of things available to you through the VA, you EARNED these things! At least get the VHIC, this is proof of being a Veteran, I use mine in places that give Veteran discounts.
One last point. Hopefully, nobody reading this part will have it apply to your circumstance, but if you know of somebody that might, let them know. If you or anybody served during any of these periods------
Mexican Border period (May 9, 1916, to April 5, 1917, for Veterans who served in Mexico, on its borders, or in adjacent waters)
World War I (April 6, 1917, to November 11, 1918)
World War II (December 7, 1941, to December 31, 1946)
Korean conflict (June 27, 1950, to January 31, 1955)
Vietnam War era for Veterans who served in the Republic of Vietnam (November 1, 1955, to May 7, 1975)
Vietnam War era for Veterans who served outside the Republic of Vietnam (August 5, 1964, to May 7, 1975)
Gulf War (August 2, 1990, through a future date to be set by law or presidential proclamation)
----and their income is below a set amount ( Currently $15,000 a year(I think)) you or they WILL qualify for this pension.

It's steady. I have been taking hemp oil now for several months. My biggest battle right now is to stay as independent as I can. Keri and her husband both are pressing me hard to leave Virginia and live with them. For me, that would be moving from Williamsburg Va to Fayetteville NC. Last Thursday (Jan 2) He and I sat in the Ft Eustis PX food court and discussed this matter. I'm (officially) on notice of any further decline in my health and a change will be made regardless of my feelings. <<<< Not said laughing!

It's the same program that the YMCA used to offer many decades ago.
"The Y's Way To A Healthy Back."
Developed by the doctor who helped JFK deal with his back pain.

While I do have a ruptured disc, my main problem is Osteoarthritis in my S.I.-JOINTs, this damage is not reversible. I have a caregiver who comes to my home 3 days a week and helps me with PT. This is in addition to a nurse who comes every day for several hours.
