I do believe there is a relay in the fuse panel that can be removed to stop this.

    Thanks Gizmo,
I will look into that.It would be nice to run the lights when i want to.
It feels like i am always replacing bulbs because they burn all the time and don't last.
At 25 bucks a bulb i would rather not run them during the daytime...

Flat bedders have it a little tough backing into a dark spot when the truck beside has their lights on. The rub rails and securement cover the flatbeds marker lights when you are looking down and back and sometimes the only way you know where the arse of your trailer is is by the reflection on the ground from your brake lights. Hard to see that reflection when your mirrors are lit up by buddies lights.

What's really bad and always seems to happen to me is you get THAT one driver that backs in across from you and he goes to bed leaving his lights on all night.
Even with a curtain some of the light gets thru. Very annoying

I like them though,Very bright white lights.I never need high beams..
I had to adjust them down a bit but they light up the road very well.

Hell I don't understand what the safety issue is with cutting the lights off in a truck stop? I would love to think we are all competent enough to maneuver around a parking lot without headlights on...

Don't really care what the guy who's backing in does with the lights. But when I'm stopped in the lane waiting for him I always turn off the headlights and appreciate when others do the same for me.
