Some help for a Rookie...

Drug screening and background check are normal for the schools to do. Mandatory, as there are certain things the are not allowed for CMV drivers. Drug screening has to be done before one can even set foot and/or backside into the seat of a truck. You will do another drug screening when you get hired too.

 

Actually you're in luck. One of the guys on here is going thru the first phase of Roehl's training right now and he usually posts almost everyday on a thread he started. I haven't seen his post pop up yet tonight and unfortunately I can't remember his screen name but Roehl is in the title of his thread. I haven't seen anything recent on Stevens.

 

From what I've read about both companies, Roehl sound's like the better way to go.
