Makes sense. A lot of Detroit Trucks try to put themselves in Chicago on Monday morning. Hats off to you. I’d say you earned every bit of $$.

Some number for O/Os save 10 % of gross for yourself. Trucks make the money. Every scheme out there is trying to get a bit of your money as 75% ofit (roughly) flows through your hands. Do the math. Had I done that I’d be a millionaire twice over just in a savings account. Add the magic of investments in stocks or whatever? That to me would be the most important part of any business plan.Hindsights 20/20!!!

I don't count on being empty on FR, I count coming home on FR and doing delivery Monday morning, so yes, technically its Mon-Mon.
From Chicago you can do two round trips to Northeat, be under 3k miles and about 7k gross. For example Chicago to Baltimore for $2400, back for $1100 and repeat. -
I’ve done all that years ago for less money ofcourse. If I did that now I’d be so wore out wouldn’t get home till sat night!!! I run 1100 miles each way avg. Two trips sometimes three a week. I can run 3 and stay under 70 hrs and get 34 reset. Just don’t want to work that hard anymore.

Being picky? Lol. I wasn't even talking to you my guy. I was telling the guy I quoted it's plenty of money to invest. Not knocking you, Sensitive Sally.Last edited: Sep 5, 2018

You wasted a lot of time going to Maine. Maybe you could have done two hops back home and then done an out and back within 200 miles to finish the week. Prob could have gotten to 6500. Loading on a Friday so you can leave out Sunday afternoon helps to get a major jump on the week. If you can bank $2000 or better by Monday at noon that’s pretty nice. :]
Or if you didn’t have time to empty and reload Friday. Find something picking Sunday. Those normally pay more anyway.Tug Toy Thanks this. -
I'd wake up in the middle of the night for that one
