Knowing I will end up sending money every quarter to IFTA, I go for lowest pre IFTA cost.

Which means I buy most of my fuel in OR Which has no sales tax or IFTA tax (also no credits)

Cali's carbon tax is just too much ( CA is charging 0.50 to 0.70 more on the sign than the other states) so currently I will only splash enough to get out of Cali to a less usurious state.

I also get a little happy feeling knowing that Cali has to wait until the company and gov't process my payment to get their money. I know it's petty, but it makes me smile and no body gets hurt so I think it's o.k.

    Hence the large failure rate.

But hey, why blame on a clueless driver when it's easier to accuse the company of unspeakable and machiavelein evil.

And those of us who preach against such a practice are ostracized by the gullible. That's ok, because the carriers know that a sucker is born every minute.

    Ummm.
    Just wow.
This guys equipment is $3200 month? Oh no daddy make it stop please.
And he's still budgeting $1100 month for equipment and repairs?
Is that $1100 converted to profit if not used?
$220 for truck washes? Must be a flat bedder.

    Lulz.

I'm glad I don't know what I'm doing. Just work hard and do a good job.

But the end of the day number is this, or end of the year if you will.

ALL bills paid. ALL taxes paid. Banked like $40K in 6 months.

Think in 9 months I've spent about $3800 in maintenance & repairs.

And that's quite a bit of time at the house.

But I never was that smart.

I'll have to get myself a $3200 equipment nut every month, rather than $980.
