It was the bond administrator - TIA, I believe. They handle claims for several insurance companies.

The ratio of scumbags to pleasant ones seems to be increasing lately. It's so nice and refreshing when you come across ones that are honest, trustworthy and do what they said they'd do, that's for sure.

Indeed. I'm to the point where I'd rather sit and/or walk away from a move than deal with them. My,"DO NOT HAUL" list is steadily growing.

That is true. I have experienced this as well. Bond company's and freight brokers are two best friends that don't care about truck drivers. Same goes for insurance companies too

TQL probably called the receiver and said something like, "that truck with the bugs in the water, we will file a insurance claim for the entire load so if you could just accept that load tomorrow we will take care of it"

Called the driver back to confirm the rescheduled appointment and then took the pictures to the insurance company to file a claim.

TQL will burn you if you give them the chance.

They just called on my posted truck. Wanted me to run from Philadelphia to Knoxville for $1000 dollars. 647 miles, PA Turnpike and NE traffic. I could have avoided the Turnpike but 78 is just horrible. He claimed it was only 500 something miles. I reminded him how TQL's mapping skills seem to constantly be very short on miles and that my rate would be 1600-1700. He cried about how they wouldn't go over 1k. I told him to find a Hotshot! Had another call from them this morning and the girl threw an absolute hissy fit because I quoted her 1k (my daily minimum) for a run within Baltimore. The truck is billed hourly or on a day rate on runs like that. These leeches want everything for free. She said she wouldn't pay anymore than $300. Fools.

I've posted my truck a million times until I finally quit doing it. Never, ever ONCE did I get a response from anyone, except TQL doing the same thing as you just said. Not just "fools"...it's the "Ship of Fools."

I'm seriously considering ceasing the process as well and will not turn the key for less than 1k. I never get a call for anything worth doing. It's usually the absolute bottom of the barrel crap that NOBODY wants. Knowing this, I quote high relentlessly. TQL is the number one offender too. When I see that 513 area code I almost cringe now.

I don’t know what happened to TQL As I recall dealing with a great guy who claimed to be the CoOwner along with his Son . Suddenly they became the New CH making Robinson look good. Haven’t worked with them in 5 yrs or more after getting cancelled on a load that was already gone. I’m glad to hear they’re getting back what they deserve.... NOTHING
