Sane warranty they give on all the trucks don't hold your breth while waiting for them to pay. And even worse is that small shops won't work with them so your stuck with the dealer so after they decide not to pay you may be stuck paying $8k more for a rebuilt motor then a smaller shop would have charged

No they have certain "covered parts" its spelled out right in the paperwork. So when you blow a rod out the side of the block both those parts are covered. Problem is if the rad cane thru because the wrist pin that holds it to the piston broke then that's ot covered so they won't pay.

That's just an example I don't have the list of covered parts in front of me right now

No EGR related parts or breakdowns are covered either.

The problem with those NTP warrantees is that they are not really a warrantee, but a contract. In other words, unlike a factory backed warrantee where they have some latitude, the NTP warrantee will be based on that contract to the letter. There are other stipulations involved as well. One big one is that you MUST have your oil changed every 15,000 miles and have every receipt available for those changes or else the warrantee is voided. For people like myself that run bypass filters, NTP warrantees are automatically null and void.

Try an Astro. Feels like you're in a greenhouse. Can't keep the inside cool in the summer because of so much glass. The old joke was that other drivers could see you scratch your gonads as you drove down the road.
