i hope that not only does his (or his company's insurance) pays 100% for a new bridge, but that he loses his job...and if an o/o, loses his MC numbers...everything.
examples of that magnatude need to be carried out to ensure all others pay attention to signs, laws, etc.
there is no way now, that bridge will still be on the historic register, but rather now a plaque mounted nearby.

I wonder how fast he was going to make it that far across the bridge. It should have collapsed with the truck alone.
