Yes. All those brokers got the same notice to bid, so they all posted it up to see if they could get a truck on it. Very common with food commodities. By now you should know which one or two of those eleven brokers is even worth calling. This is also the sort of load that can "vanish" between the time you agree on a rate and get the completed confirmation back. One of the other sharks scores the load and you'll get the "so sorry, try again later."

I'm certain it is. I doubt the load board system is smart enough to differentiate multiple listings of the same thing. In fact, the incentive is not to. After all, how else can they brag about the millions of listings each day? That's why I always look at listed freight when I see something remarkable to make sure this sort of crap isn't skewing the statistic. In the area you run, surrounding states will play havoc with those numbers as well. You didn't think all Delaware cargo was picked up by a truck from there did you? LOL.

    Windsmith,
I'm almost 100% sure those were 11 different loads going up to Walter&Jackson in Quarryville (Lumber) as that is Amish country and whenever they ordered stock it was done at one time. I ran those loads numerous times when I was running off the boards and remember it was line up early to get loaded then find out we all were going to the same place to unload!! If I remember it was paying right at $950....
