I think when you are actively passing whether it be truck or car you should be able to break the limit to achieve the pass in a quick efficient manner. It is not safe driving alongside other vehicles in the middle of no where when people start getting fatigued. My opinion anyway.

I'll have to develop some more patience for sure :p

I'm with you on that. I never cared much for governors. Carriers have other ways to keep drivers slowed down. MPG being one. A friend of mine drives for a small carrier. They post on the wall all the MPG of the trucks. Your expected to stay in a range. Get out of that range and you better have a good reason they will warn you and fire you if it continues. Qualcomm's can also keep up with maximum speeds. Governors are outdated and in some cases dangerous tools.

What a great question. I understand they always have to be ahead of the truck. I can only give you my opinion why they drive like that; Because they are immature, selfish idiots, that's why. Here in CA the CHPs have to hide to catch them, and they are pulling them over right and left. People do not know how to merge, do not use turn signals, and it's also obvious to me they pay no attention to their speedometers. I like driving except for having to put up with 2 and 4 wheelers.

If you have only one maxi that is leaking you can just cage it off and get rolling again. One time I lost the short shaft of my drive line and it took out one of the airlines to the maxi so I just caged it off and put my power divider on so I could get home

re:propane torches....A couple of years ago a local plumber stored a gas bottle in the cab of his pickup. The bottle leaked overnight, filling the cab with a rich mixture. The next morning the plumber blew himself up when starting the engine.

    Deodorant is your best friend.
Wash your clothes so you don't smell like a wet dog or worse.
Make sure your hands are clean BEFORE visiting the buffet( I can't stress this enough).
If you're governed at 65 or less, stay in your lane when you see others coming, also if you're doing 63mph and the guy passing you is doing 63.5 mph for GODS sake let off and let him in.

some drivers will talk to you forever if you let them, normally about some ####### crazy stuff, it's okay to be rude and walk away - they'll probably follow you
