I agree with you on this too. I double clutch every now and then too.

Yeah I know on your CDL test they make you double clutch. Then the first thing the trainer does it teach you how to float them if you don't know already. Thank god I got grand fathered in and never had to worry about being out with a large company!

Dang man that's a beautiful truck! I had the same prob with my truck clutch brake was giving me hell! finally replaced it.

I don't think I've counted gears since I was learning to drive a set of sticks. That was 20 years ago. Hell I can't even tell you what gear I'm in most of the time, but I always know if there's another one to go or not just by the feel of where the stick is.
