I have a 2011 cascadia that started throwing this code 3364 improper def quality. The first time it did this was with 3/4 def tank full. I stopped and bought a small pump and pumped out about 14 gallons. Refilled and did a parked Regen and blinking light stopped and truck seamed normal. So now I drive 345 miles and the truck is doing the same thing with def blinking light even with tank full. Three codes are active. Eec 61 Spn 3364 fail 2, eec 61 4364 fail 18 which is low nox sensor, and sfu 49 spn 520201 fail 03 witch I can't find much info on. Any remarks would be appreciated.thanks

I have a 2013 Cascadia and i am currently stuck on the side of the road here in Newfoundland. I am getting codes Spn 5246, Spn 4346, Spn 3364. I have derate to 5mph. Nearest freightliner dealership is 490 miles out in to St johns. Is there any way to bypass this until I get to dealership. I don't have the funds to cover the extremely expensive tow bill to St Johns

5246 is just the derate code. 4346 is NOX Conversion efficiency low, 3364 is DEF quality low which is probably the cause.
How many miles are on the truck, does it idle a lot?
Best case, could be a bad sensor, clogged def Doser, def filter. Worst case the doc catalyst, the whole One-Box has to be changed.
About the only way to skip the tow truck. Someone with Detroit's software DDDL 8 needs to reset the codes and do a forced regen. Then you could drive it in to the dealer. The same thing will happen again but you might get into shop before it goes to 5 mph. -

Hit the regen button on the dash. It might not work the first time. Just try it again, make shur you get a good 45 min Regen. Should get you down the road. Say a prayer and try it.
