I have the same problem going on for 7 months, change one box, def metering unit, new def filter , def header, nox inlet and outlet sensor, every single sensor that has something to do with the def and I still have the same problem def qualitycode ... please help if you have any info? All repairs done in premier truck group Freightliner dealership ..
in your case you will need to hookup DL and drive your truck loaded . must monitor inlet NOX value. it should not be more than 650 ppm. if it goes more than that you have mechanical problem in engine. Recessed valve seats or tight valves... it's a common problem with high mileage DD15 engines.
I had the bad def quality message on a 15 last month, def doser was crystallized and clogged up. After it was cleaned, they did a forced regen and it was fine.
