Sony PS4 & Inverter question

Yeah I believe the biggest they make utilizing a cig plug is the 300 but as soon as you fur up a gave, it draws too much and will power down.

 

So are you saying don't run the ps4 and the tv in the same inverter? I have the thermo King inverter that comes with the APU and my ps4 keeps turning off.

 

When I ran ps4 and tv on the same 300w cig inverter the ps4 would turn off sometimes. Plug near steering wheel is on a dif fuse than the sleeper plugs, so tv, with extension cord with a 100w or bigger inverter, to that plug and ps4 on 300w inverter in a sleeper plug is what worked for me. It still managed to blow the 20a sleeper fuse once for some reason, but usually works. I'm not familiar with apus.

 

What's a Sony ps4. New type of CB?

 

I can get by with just a radio, but there are better types of entertainment available, so why not.

 

Thanks for the reply. Someone told me to let the truck run while playing, and that worked for me. When my apu shuts down, there isn't enough power to allow the ps4 to stay on.

 

What size the the inverter? An apu should have a high enough inverter to easily run a ps4. A model number might help.

 

Was also wondering about this as i have what the company said is a 1100w inverter, but my PS4 wont even pretend to come on with the truck running

This thread is so confusing and I read it all because wanted to know if could use a 150w inverter for a small TV and a 300w inverter for a ps4 both plugged into 12v plugs
