I tried to check the AIT website and it's been hijacked by another fake trucking website.
Several different sites that show AIT take you to the fake website.
Maybe you should check with AIT Las Vegas and make sure your enrollment is valid. Let someone there know what's going on.

I'm OTR, by choice, because I like the travel and lack of routine. I'm just fine being cooped up in my truck for long periods of time and spending most of my time by myself. I get a kick out of waking up and having to think a bit before I even remember what State I'm in. That isn't for everyone.
I have a buddy who I went to trucking school with and he's only 23. He has been having a really dilemma with the lack of a social life as a trucker. For his age, that's a pretty normal kind of thing. I'm 60 and that's not much of a problem for me.
Anyway, there are lots of 'flavors' to this job and one size doesn't fit all. I would go insane if I consistently had the same route, even if it meant I'd get home much more often. Others prefer that because it will get them home on a regular basis and don't mind, or even prefers, the same route repeatedly.
So, think what you want to get out of it. Ask questions here about those kinds of things, lots of folks doing lots of different kinds of trucking here that will gladly help with the pros and cons of the different types of trucking. And, this isn't an occupation where alot is set in concrete. If you think you want to go OTR, try it out. If it doesn't fit, get a regional or dedicated route. If you find you like being a truck driver, you'll be able to find the niche that makes you happiest.
