First I would like to say I had the wrong thing on my page , and I'm not the best typer in the world. (I said MTC not MTI). Second thing is this is my second week and we are doing backing. Straight back I had no problem of course. Parallel is a different story. I had four tries today and I only got it once( the last time). It was a lilttle harder than I thought it would be.Not only that I was beating myself up over it. Hopefully thing will get better later this week. Still having just a lilttle problem shifting but I will get that. Just hope I get the parking part down so I can move on and be a safe driver. I'll let you know how it goes.![]()
Sorry MTI......

There is your main problem. Don't sweat the small stuff. Backing takes lots and lots and lots of practice. There are still days where I can nail a blind side alley and screw up a straight line 10 minutes later.

yeah i couldnt back for crap until after i had my own truck

These guys are correct. It is a learning curve. Sounds like you are right where you are supposed to be. Chin up! : )

thanks guys for your support and help. really needed that. did much better today. also learned alot by calming down and just doing it

well i did it. i made it threw hell week. i was told today i passed the backing test. thks to everyone helping me and giving me support when i was down.

Yeah I have been nailing my backing pretty good since I got out on my own but yesterday at unilever I couldn't back to save my life. I was having a rage party in my truck for awhile lol

Its all about the setup, get it and the backing is easy. Screw the setup and you make things way worse. Thats one reason the backing test sucks imo you can't control your setup since each exercise has a strict set of rules.
