The CDL job market REAL-LY SUX right now -- & particularly for new(er) drivers -- & even more so for drivers in places like southern Florida (basically anywhere below Interstate 4). Suggestion: apply for forklift jobs with the LTL fleets in your area. Later....when a driver position becomes available at your dock -- apply for it. You'll have the home-team advantage there because you've already mastered how to work the docks. In the meantime -- those LTL driving jobs will require you to have ALL the relevant CDL endorsements: tanker, hazmat....& doubles/triples. So start working on getting those endorsements now. Later -- when you need them -- you'll already have them. An example: Jobs -- L
Do you have family outside of Florida? If so, use their address as your domicile. That's your only shot
Don't know how legit any of these postings are but any resources you can peruse are a good idea for south Florida. https://www.lanefinder.com/jobs/?postalCode=33311

Might be worth it to apply to Publix to see if you can get on full-time and work your way up to a driver position. That’s a possibility.
Thanks for the info I spoke to publix and they said that it can take a long time to get into the CDL position cause of the long waiting list as well as how long you have been working in the warehouse so im guessing my best bet is gategourmet in the meantime since it counts as commercial driving even though its CDL B not A
Considering where you are, that CDL-B job is ok. If/when the job market for CDL-A jobs recovers in Miami, then most companies will hire you and put you with a trainer for a refresher before sending you out solo. You will already have a record as a safe driver in a commercial vehicle.
