P n D is average of 21 to start and benefits are 67 a week for my whole family

Have you seen, or do you know of talks of an increase with all this Obamacare stuff going on? Or even a loss of coverage.

 

Before all that bs it was 54 a week but after the new year it went to 67 but that's medical dental and vision but they are self insured so that why they are able to keep cheaper rates

 

Be ready to drive its a very extensive road test at least ours was it took prolly 2 hrs

 

I'm good with driving. I'm assuming they are weeding out a pool of candidates. First interview tomorrow. See what that holds

We'll, I had a fantastic interview. I was offered a job and now I'm just waiting on my background check to clear and then I'll go turn my head and cough and pee in a cup.

This thread helped me learn a lot about the company and some of the details regarding employment. However, there are some things that weren't exactly as stated previously in posts.

You are not required to purchase a pallet jack like stated; maybe you were years back, not any more.

My drive test will consist of a pre-trip, a couple yard maneuvers, then a 25 mile route, not a 2 hour drive.

Orientation will be one week in Dallas or Houston, just depends on the timing.

You do not bid on routes, you bid on start times; which each route has a specific time so previous poster was probably correct.

I'm ready to get this process going so I can give my two weeks notice. I definitely feel like this is a change for the better for me and my family.

 

The 25 mile road test was in downtown witch is why mine took 2 hrs but plan on 1 week for back ground then 1 week for physical. I road for a week then went to orentation in Houston

 

Does anyone know what Southeastern freight lines background check includes? Does it include things like criminal history, credit reports etc. or anything else? Just wondering because I have bankruptcy.

 

I have a bankruptcy too. But I doubt they disqualify over it
