Top pay is over 23 now. And I believe they still pay all locations the same.

22.55 is top out but every July you get a cost of living raise

The terminal here hired 4 drivers, I was the only one with Doubles/Triples, and Hazmat endorsements.
The rest have to get them before they can drive.
So, no...I would apply and look for a section to explain those things to them. Good luck. They seem to be a great place to work and great people to work forCameronChase Thanks this. -
Update: was officially hired yesterday after road/written test. Orientation in Greensboro next week. Excited about working new job at sefl. Haven't switched jobs often so little nervous. Do they pay weekly? Direct deposit? If your the new guy are you pretty much going to be running the late start times?
-
Congrats. I'll have my road test tomorrow or the next day; just waiting on drug test to return.
Those are great questions. Anyone have the answersFishbait Thanks this. -
Pay weekly. You will prolly be doing a lot of moving around line haul, p and d I got lucky and got a route my first day 7 months later still have it
Fishbait Thanks this. -
What does the written test consist of?
-
My written test had 51 questions all coming from the FMCSA rule book, also some hazmat too. Multiple choice. The safety guy who gave me the road test afterward said it was open book but the TM never gave me one so I winged it. Guess I did fine.
-
Ok, there isn't an actual TM at my location. There's a guy filling in, but I wonder if that's why I haven't heard anything about the written part.
