We used to always lock the spair on with a tube lock. The master lock was up in this tube. Guy with a hack saw could cut for days and not get it off. The trick was the pipe inside the pipe. The saw blade cuts into the outer tube, but just rolls the inside tube around and around. There was lots of weekends back in the 1980's when I had to lay over in North East. That pipe had marks on it but never lost a new tire and wheel.
I did shoot one guy for trying to steal my TV out of the Cabover I was driving at that time. He did some screaming when that CO2 bb pistol popped that butt 3 times before he could get to the end of that 42ft Reefer unit.![]()
