Sparkys CB Shop?? WTH???

Okay I couldn't take it anymore, I spoke to the Police Chief of Westgate Village about 1920 hours CDT, Chief Dave Booe (217)304-7814) told me that he knows that something is not going good for Sparky's Cb Shack. He told me that he has been inundated with calls from people who are not happy. He also indicated that if Al had strokes that they must have been very minor ones, and talked to Al less than a week ago and didn't seem to think he was in a bad way at all. I am getting my money back by way of Pay Pal, but for the rest of you, I don't know. I think you are screwed. He told me that Al was supposed to be in the shop tomorrow AM and the Chief was going by to talk to him to get me some answers. I told him that I have been reading the forums and a lot of truckers and others were not that happy. The Chief indicated that he was able to help a guy out by getting his stuff back by dealing with it personally, but who knows. This is a four man P.D. with a Chief, Captain, Sergeant, and Patrolman, so they are a little top heavy. To top it all off, I requested membership on Sparky's CB Forum a week ago and have not been given access. Today I got an email from Radiotech33 wondering why I have not posted. Really? My business is going elsewhere. He could personally deliver my stuff to my house and set it up, and I would tell him to suck it! The Chief even indicated that someone has been at the shop and won't answer the phone, but he talked to a business next door and they have seen people in and out. I have no previous relationship with Al so I'm not buying the bull stuff like a bunch of other people. Thank you Al for making my re-introduction into one of my favorite hobbies a nightmare! Stroke my #####! Enjoy Barbados with everybody's equipment, and first time buyers money. Yes, I'm mad, and not afraid to say so. I hope I'm wrong for all the people that have trusted him in the past.

Call the Chief of Westgate Village, and tell him what you think about Sparky's who has your radio, and a ton of new buyers money! I bet he used to be a huge contributor to their sales tax revenue. No stroke; just got in over his head with the new building and expansion! My opinion only!!!!!!!!! I don't now s$&%!

 

I live about 30-45 min from their. Thought about showing up their and asking what the problem is.

Thats what happens to some small business's. First their small and good get awesome quality out of them first then word of mouth spreads out how good they are then they start getting over wheelmed with work and customers and bad business practice they don't get extra hired help cause they wanna keep the extra loot they making but can't get to all the new customers orders and needs and then their name and quality goes under.

This happen to many places as they have bad business skills. Doesn't mean they bad people just sucks that they can't handle their $h!t the right way.

Not defending anyone here just saying what I seen with places.

 

30 years, I haven't been bitten by the poor customer service bug.

 

Well all I can say is I get great service out of the tech I use. Has the equipment and years of experience to tune or repair my radios the right way at a fair price. (Actually since he tuned all of them several years ago, I haven't had any of them back to him except the one I use in the truck......something broke, I don't remember what it was now.)

 

Well all I can say is I have an awesome banker that helped me save my first million. Never had any problems wih him. Just gotta know the right banker and won't have any problems. Helping me on saving and making my second million in the next couple years.

You know what I'm saying? If you have info to share don't be so vage with detail. Be more specific if you wanna say how good your guy is. Doesn't help anyone just knowing that you know someone that does quality work. Help out when we know where to go.

 

Yet you fail to release the name and address of your banker. Maybe his tech does not work on just anyone's radio.

 

Maybe my banker is same way doesn't work with every ones money. Ever think of that? Goes both way ways right. Can't have everyone be millionaires.

 

Your the one who started with it. Ever think of that? What do you mean we can't have everyone be a millionaire? Does this mean as soon as you became one you started rejecting the idea of the American dream? Illogical thought really bugs me. Especially when publicized for no apparent reason. Almost as much as blatantly bragging for no apparent reason. Not to mention when the dollar collapses your million will be as useful as toilet paper. Might I suggest gold in small bars instead. Land will be useless, what with eminent domain combined with China claiming yours for your part of the national debt.

 

I started it. I pointed it out. Seems like some people in this forum like to keep secrets to them selves when usually a forum is supposed to me informative. Maybe I wanna keep secrets to myself also.

Yes yes very blantly bragging as was the post above me that I was pointing out. You still obviously don see this. What was that post above mine doing? Bragging about a tech he knows or uses. So why not brag about my banker and have some people think about it.

 

If you want to know, PM the member and I'm sure he will tell you. This forum does not allow open advertising I suppose otherwise he would have stated publicly.
