Sparkys CB Shop?? WTH???

Some techs are very selective of their customers due to the nature of this business and years of experience taking losses from people who buy radios they never learned how to properly operate. As you say customer service is important and this is better served by only having the right customers to begin with. Since I know Mike's tech well I can state unequivocally he already doesn't like that guy from the way he talks here. Therefore it is a moot point, the guy does not need to know who Mike's tech is because His tech does not wish to work on the guys equipment anyway. Beginning a conversation with condescending arrogance does not win any brownie points with anyone.

In reality I believe the topic was Sparky's but after 11 pages I think it has run it's course to completion.

This is not being either polite or nice to him, rather you are demanding you control what he posts. Was it not possible Mike was just commenting on how he liked his tech after 11 pages ragging on the subject and it was his right to innocently post his own chosen comments not subject to your control and demands? You see it is you who set the tone here and you are further escalating this attitude with your inference to gay sex to people who for all you know are decent Christians who would be highly offended by such remarks. No I guess understanding this is asking too much.

 

Wouldn't that be off topic of just coming in and saying what he said. What's that even related about sparkys. What's the point of even saying something like this of you don't wanna share or say who or what to use.

It would be like if I found a mystery additive or tune that made my truck 1000ho and 100mpg and just one in a thread just saying such and such and that's it? No valuable info just saying what you got or what its capable.

Talking to people like this has no business on this forum and the unconcerned callousness of the comment and therefore the attitude behind it is further amplified by responding to a complaint about the comment with "If that's offensive you must have thin skin and live in a bubble and never get out the house".

Language like this especially unjustified cheapens and drags down morals and destroys all hope of civil discourse.

 

I really don't have a dog in the race, but could we concentrate on getting everybody's stuff from Sparky's? The chief of Westville never called me back, and I'm not going to bother him anymore for now. I wish somebody near there could go knock on the business door or Al's house. I have to wait 8 more days until I can order my next radio so Knucklehead has had time to respond to the claim. Even though I'm sure he won't, I can't afford two charges if for some reason there is a glitch. I guess what angers me most is someone does know and wont speak up. I can't believe that no one in the small town of Westville does not talk on the two-way and doesn't know something!

Since I can't get onto Sparky's Forum I will post here hoping that ChromeAngel007 or someone else who is a member can put it on Sparky's Forum like my other post. It's kind of like a relay or cross talk LOL. The last member accepted on Sparky's forum was in January of this year (midniteta), so I guess I'm not getting on. This has become clearly criminal! I'm not an attorney either, but I am familiar with criminal law concerning consumer complaints. First, this matter involves the internet or interstate commerce which involves Federal law. According to the local law enforcement, Sparky (Albert Carle) is not on his death bed, and not even suffering from a medical problem. The issue is proving intent. Intent is not proven overnight and that is why the police tell you that it is a civil matter in the beginning. I don't know all the circumstances, so this is all conjecture which I am apprehensive to even do, but I have seen this many times where originally the P.D. says that, but at some times it becomes criminal based on the amount of time and the number of victims, plus the length of time the issue continues without being rectified. What makes this matter the most concerning is that he has a lot of peoples personal radios. That is where the theft is more than likely to come to issue. I know Illinois is a screwed up state, but where I'm from failure to allow someone to regain their property is clearly criminal. If I had stuff there I would approach the local law enforcement and complain that the business is refusing to return your property. Since there is no listing in the Secretary of States Officer under an LLC or Corp. then it is probably a sole proprietorship which makes him responsible personally. In one of my previous post I indicated that the Chief got involved to get someone their stuff back because to retain property of another and refuse to return it is a crime. Now if Knucklehead would have performed work to the equipment it would be a civil matter; kind of like a mechanic's lien. If you take your truck to the shop and they do work to it, they deserve to be paid. If your not happy with the work then it is a civil matter. If you agree to having some work done, and you go back the next day and they won't give you your rig after no work being done then it is criminal unless you signed some sort of contract. I really think we have broached the criminal side of this matter. I really don't care about Al; I just don't want anyone else to get screwed since the website looks like they could deliver a Rolls Royce is a week. I hate to see anybody have to deal with the law, but for you guys that are not getting your stuff returned; that pi$$es me off! Most of you would pay the shipping to get it. I saw one guy who has a 600.00 dollar radio sitting there. Man, I'm glad I'm not in your shoes!

 

I have three radios from Sparky with his tune and not one of them has anything clipped in it. One of them is one of the earlier Stealth Cobra 29s and nothing is clipped in it. To bad my mic stuck keyed up for more then an hour and burnt something in it in the process because that was one heck of a radio for being an 11 meter and not a high powered 10 meter.
