The truth and my opinion can never be challenged. All of which are clearly defined in my posts.

See above. Man it's hard not to violate the terms of the website, Lackey!

Oops! Maybe I just did. Do you think that I haven't done my homework? I think most would think that I have by my posts. The truth shall set you free! Have you been by or ordered anything from Sparky's lately? I'm happy you got great service, and your stuff works, but you are in the minority, lately. I'm not saying Sparky didn't run a top notch shop before, but he ain't now! MONITORING 155.475

I don't know Bruce that can be a sticky wicket. In common law jurisdictions one could file a Tort, otherwise a Delict. If Bill has been wronged this could be a big mistake trying to sue him for complaining in public as Bill could file abusive process for say a quarter mil. Best to fully understand anything legal before you get too far into it. The BBB is a waste of time. You have the state attorney generals office mail you a form which you fill out and file with them. This is most wise to do before you begin any legal proceeding in such matters. He could also go there and file in small claims but I have done that and won, only to get nothing since in most states there is no legal teeth in the judgement. Typically the most the court can do is charge you money to have them send out a constable to go complain to the guy but beyond this nothing is done. Waste of time usually. He would be better off with judge Judy.

Bottom line is just avoid him and let others know why ......

PERSONLY ..... I have had little to do with him only because he does not sell things I need.

I was just informed about this thread. The last update that I received, reportedly by Al himself, was that he has a couple serious strokes. In addition, he reported that all repairs would be done and mailed out at no-charge by the end of July. I don't believe anyone has gotten anything. This concerns me because I'm now worried that he's had a setback. I've been dealing with Sparky/Al for many years and don't believe he's the type to rip anyone off. As with anything else, only time will tell. Hopefully we'll get the rest of the story and this will be put to rest.

What did you mean by reportedly? I'm not trying to be antagonistic, just want facts. It either did or it didn't come from Al. That seems to be the whole problem here is that the only person with the reason this is happening is Al himself. We only know what we have observed, and left to guess why, but the fact it is happening goes undisputed. The shop is closed up today, there is a sign on the door, and no one is there as of about 9:30 AM CDT. FACT!

Secondly, I don't know what Bruce is implying, but everyone has the right to an opinion. The debate became whether or not something is criminal or civil. Relative to that I simply offered my opinion that I think it has become criminal, and an investigation is warranted to prove or disprove my opinion. I could go to a law enforcement agency, and allege my view that this is criminal. Police reports are public record after certain criteria are met. Are you suggesting that I wouldn't have the right to do that? I simply want my money refunded, and then I'm done with this tread about Sparky's CB. Maybe I have taken this a little too personal, but I believe in standing up for the little guy, and I think there are a lot of truckers, and people (no, I don't mean truckers are not people too, before I offend anyone else) that are truly stuck in a bad situation. I am not disputing that fact that Al had run and good shop in the past. He is probably a great guy to be around and talk to. Maybe even toss back a couple of beers with... My post are my experiences, and from what I have read I am not the only one. I get it! I pray that if in fact Al has had medical problems that he makes a full recovery, and if it is something grave, and his family needs help, he can keep my five big ones. All that being said, he does have a responsibility to stop taking orders, and in this day and age post something about the matter on a web forum titled after his company or the website.

Fortunately, this is the United States of America, and I could go stand in front of his shop with a tomato stake and poster board on the public right-of-way if I wanted to, and there is not a dang thing anyone could do about it. Additionally Bruce, before a civil suit could even be considered against me one would have to prove damages. Al would have to prove that he or his business has been maligned, and this caused monetary damage or that it was done maliciously because I owned a CB shop around the corner or something like that. Hell I wish I had interest in a CB shop around the corner with a great tech right about now. I think he has done enough of that himself. At this point I am the one who has suffered a loss, not Al.

    I have enjoyed the debate!

From Sparky's Forum: Well, doing 5-minutes of research on this, took me to here.

Sorry, but I'm not putting this post coming from someone that had =< 7-posts on a #### trucking board forum, above the reputation that Sparky/Al has built over many years. Like I said, if it comes to light that Al screwed his customers, I'll eat crow and slide back into my hole, but I'm not believing someone on a truckers board with 7 or less posts, who I don't know.

Nascar you are a member of the same "#### trucking board forum" and have been since June of 2008. This was your 94th post. Does that mean since this is a "#### trucking board forum" everything you said should be discounted? When you post on this forum do you call Sparky's forum a "#### CB forum?" You just blew any credibility that you had. This is not about Al personally, it is about his role as the principal and owner of a CB shop. Who is your favorite driver by the way? I like Jimmy Johnson, and the 48 car.

Oh, I would love to post my opinion on Sparky's Forum, but no new members have been approved since January according to the forum stats.

    Good day.
