Thanks, this is what i was referring too. from this O.P. thats awesome time in and shipment and is what i hear of them. which is why i questioned my order and wondered what was up and wanted to talk to someone about it. my status still says "Awaiting Fulfillment" but my card was charged, so I'm assuming the fulfillment is on there end.

When I ordered my connex 4600 turbo, I did not get any other response either until I got an email a couple days later saying that it was shipped along with tracking info.

He is a busy man and each and every radio he sells goes across the bench to make sure it is doing what it is supposed to do. This takes time. He sells alot of equipment so yours is on the list to get benched and boxed and shipped.

His phone hours are posted on his site, He does not answer calls before or after these hours. He has a personal life also so I would not demand that he be at our beck and call 24/7. He takes holidays off and closes the doors. That is just the way it is.

Eric I pulled this info off their site:
Most in Stock Items are Shipped within 24 hours of Receipt of payment. (Excluding Weekends & Holidays) Exceptions Being Radios and other Equipment that Require Bench Time, Tuning, or Custom Builds/Modifications. In no event will your order be held more than 72 hours prior to shipping (Excluding Weekends & Holidays).

If they actully do take off for Presidents day(even though nobody takes off except the Post Office and a few other gov't workers) then the latest it should ship is tomorrow. If you read their FAQ page it is actually comical. They talk about providing superior service, but basically chew out customers on the page telling them not contact them about orders or technical help because you can't expect them to stay in business by providing such services. hahaha

I know i should be ashamed to want some sort of simple and quick "human" reply to a email after dropping $300.00.... the nerve of me!!!! I mean there's no way someone running a CB shop would possibly screw one over... no way!... I should just relax and sitback and just let them provide me the service they sell when they see #### good and ready too.. wow, thanks for setting me stright on that one.:biggrin_25512:

    Just my 2 cents .....

I have bought things from Sparky and had no problems. Same from R&L HAMRADIO OUTLET and AES.

Well you could have ordered from someone like Radio Active and you would get the same thing except you would be getting some hacked up POS for your 300 bucks.

You may anyhow, Sad to say but threads like this and much much worse about Sparkys are becoming all to commonplace,There is much discontent even on his own forum. Sparky is a very good tech and is fortunate to be busy enough he must hire unproven help to hack peoples radios but, I'm not sure how much longer this will last. It's a shame as Sparky is one of the best, It just seems lately many customers have been less than happy with the radios they buy and especially the lack of customer service. Good luck rebel, I hope you are one of the lucky ones.

Maybe he should have just put everything he was doing on hold and cater to your $300 order. And called you personally and bake you a cake and send some flowers with your order. Would you be happy then? I bet not...some people are so hard to please. I want what I want and I want it now.:biggrin_25516::biggrin_2553:

I have ordered from Sparkys several times, and never had a problem either...I doubt you have anything to worry about.

I would be more concerned with UPS drop-kicking my package in the back of their truck, or seeing how well it bounces out the back!
