i know we all feel the same. get with sparkys cb shack and he can and will help you out. if you want something they are really good with getting it.

i use to feel the same about not getting a 10 meter. but if you have them remove the other channels there is no way you will end up where you dont want to go.

 

I have never heard of this being done and don't know if it can be done, except by removing the band control potentiometer.

 

It's easy just know where you ARE when you toss the switch .

 

If it is that easy, why do some CB'ers end up in the ten meter amateur band ? :smt102

 

Some CB'ers are dumb enough to say breaker one nine when they are not on channel 19. So as long as there are people you will have some doing dumb things like this.

 

well to quote a move i once saw... " use that lump that's 3 feet above your ###" i am sure any decent shop can set your radio to only put out on cb scene they are the ones with the knowledge.
only a couple more weeks and ill have my BIG SQUAWK BOX. I love to just shoot the #### on there when i am crusinin down the hwy but its hard to have a long convo when you are getting passed by everyone including grandma. #### company trucks 62 mph really sucks.

 

One thing you need to remeber. There is always someone with more power than you!

I have seen guys running 6 batteries and two altanators just to supply power to their amps that are putting out over 50 THOUSAND WATTS!
You dont see many like that but they are out there.

 

50 Kilowatts with only two alternators and six batteries??? Even at eighteen volts it sounds unrealistic.I would think they would need a bigger power plant under the hood.

50000 watts / 18 volts = 2777.77778 amperes

 

Set it to the cb band and remove the knob from the radio. Thats how you dont go to the 10 meter bands on a 10 meter radio.

i dont want the most power just enough to drown out the truck stop loud mouths that always cut me off when i am talking with someone... i know what i want and how much it will cost. and i am good with that.
