Spec help 389 pete?

    Don’t believe what Peterbilt spec software says about weight either. Get the component manufacture literature to find what weighs what. (Dana, Spicer, Eaton, Meritor, etc.)

    If you aren't running any sort of bulk commodity, and are pulling heavy, go big or go home. 46k rears are a must. For steers, like @Ridgeline said, go big, but tailor your tires to what you are doing, they aren't that hard to swap out.

    Gonna go with the 46k rears and get it what’s the Tilt vs no tilt 5th wheel any significant pros or cons ? What’s the better rear brand all I hear from the reps is Dana

    That’s exactly what I plan to do they where able to get me Bridgestone ml 16ply lp 24.5 I’m debating on rather to just run with them or swap to Michelin energy lines or bridgestone ecopia drives with Michelin fronts

    A no tilt 5th wheel is for pulling frameless dump trailers.
