spec'ing 53' dry van

I did end up just picking up a Great Dane this month through Crossroads trailer. Put the deposit down in July after they already had it ordered. They order them just like this constantly. They call it a "Platinum Van". I couldn't change anything but it's pretty nice and for what you get I think $38,500 is a deal. It has disc brakes, SmartLift, 45 lights, auto inflate (needs about 20 more though lol), stainless nose and tail, and 8 aluminum wheels. My SmartLift was programmed incorrectly at the factory and was dropping as soon as you hit 10 mph. My local GD dealer fixed it no hassles great turn around even though I didn't buy it from them. Now it's going back again because I just realized I have NO BRAKES on the fixed axle. If you don't mind sharing rollin coal what did a custom order set you back?

 

You can convert a Hendrickson VANTRAAX to a SMARTLIFT configuration, if that’s what you’re running. Call Hendrickson and they’ll tell you what components you need to get the extra tire to ground clearance on the lift axle. It’s basically 4 different air springs and a couple spacers, since you already have the lift kit installed.
