And by the way... ask those boys at the business management class about containing costs. Here's a little quiz for you. How much difference is there to your bottom line between say 8 mpg and 6 mpg over the course of a 150,000-mile year at $4/gallon?
You might want to ponder that a bit since fuel is your largest controllable expense as an owner-operator. -

companies put miles miles miles in your head...but the thing is if u play your hand right u wont have to run like that...its a huge difference in mpg...but the stuff I haul I dont get good mpg any way...fuel is your biggest expense but include that in your rate and it really wont hurt your pocket...
we working on getting bonded right now...we already have the dva and tax id #...just a bond and a trailer and we good to go -
