Speed limiters......

I remember JB. Hunt clogging up the roads with governed trucks, had their trucks at like 55mph?? That was in the 80's and 90's though.

JB was bad about that. He also ripped Jake brakes out because too many drivers played with them. He trained hundreds of thousands in his schools. Only to discover that they will leave and join a carrier they really want.

The year he quit the business of driving training, 340K were affected. Rest of Industry went crazy because the biggest source of trained drivers evaporated.

 

What's all this about speed limiters. We had speed limiters years ago. They were called 238 Detroit's.
