I had worked there for two years and there is some serious #### that went on in that business.

if you take and put a negative review on the office location (which is Speed repair center in fife, wa) you will be threatened with a libel lawsuit.

around June of '22 there started to be paycheck delays, started to be two to three days then started getting up to a week. Boss kept touting it as the bank not working right and cooperating with Chase bank ACH systems, and kept trying to reassure it wasn't going to happen again.

fast forward nine months or so, I have inconsistent paychecks, not being paid for over a month and have a ruined credit score, no thanks to the owner assuring me I will be paid on time after he gets my paychecks up to date, then consecutively doesn't pay me for three weeks on end.

Trying to get detention, rollover or breakdown pay was like pulling teeth, they tried to get you to run on the ####tiest tires ever, bald or whatever, and "get it to the shop" instead of fixing it on the road prior to a dot inspection station. The owner would buy himself nice cars like a Cadillac, Mercedes S-class and more, while leaving us unpaid, and it felt like a slap in the face.

I talked with a couple drivers recently, one was unpaid for more than three weeks and another wasn't paid for at least 45 days. Other drivers/former drivers had been evicted from their homes, or apartments due to the owner not paying on time, and his constant lying to the other drivers about him "taking care of them".

I was homeless for six months trying to save my money to purchase an rv, but got ####ed by him not paying me consistently, so it got me stuck in a debt loop with my credit cards. Then he had the gall to offer me an rv from a friend to "help me out" but I can't pay consistently for #### when I'm not being paid consistently by my boss.

I quit in April, and I'm working at a better business that treats drivers right, and Arashdeep Malhi still owes me north of $1700 dollars.

 

The minute the first paycheck was late or bounced,I would’ve been gone !

 

10 months with pay issues? Sorry, you brought that on yourself. You should have bounced in under 10 days.

 

So.. my theory on not working for companies with moronic names still holds water...

 

It seems the company has “speed” on everything but paying its drivers properly!
Irony abounds…

 

I thought only Swift had rollover pay.........
