Believe me I watched it all in my 40+ years driving semi. I know what your saying. But remember this. No matter how fast you go someone will be trying to pass you. So I prefer to let everyone jockey for position like a race car driver. Easier on me, my equipment, and fuel mileage. But if you or anyone else wants to fly, then go get'em. I remember when the national speed limit was 55. That wasn't so great either.

I usually stay pretty close to the limit, until 55 in a 65 grandpa gets in front of me. Most of where i go the speed limit is 65 so you go about 70 in the bottom end of overdrive and get decent mieage, construction zone I'll go 5 under the limit, same in small towns where there's a possibility of small kids running around.

You are a complete fool my friend. That speed limit is the max your allowed to run. If traffic is heavy an I'm in a max 70 zone, guess what...I'm running 60. I'll let you morons pass. Semi trucks have no business running over 65 in heavy traffic anyways. To much going on. I hear some of you twuckers complain about cars, hell I seen more distracted truck drivers. Messing with your phone, Qualcomm, GPS, etc. So yeah go ahead and continue being one of these arrogant twuckers, I'll laugh when I see your corpse being loaded into the meat wagon lol

Exactly. I get paid by the mile to get the load there safely. If I wreck bc I'm speeding I don't get paid and out of a job. But hey I guess I my old line of work taught me something about taking pride in your job and professionalism. ButBhey, what would I know, I'm only 30 years old...

Keep driving safely. It sounds like you have common sense..which incidentally is not common anymore.

No one is going to be laughing when corpses are loaded. It can easily be you. We are done here.

Remember I don't do technology when driving, so that's out. I'll run the truck at 85 if it's legal to do so. No worries.

You go. Stay out of the packs, if you are at 85mph things happen suddenly. I personally would not laugh at dead bodies, but everything we do has cause and effect. The law of what you plant, thats what will grow. I try to pick my poison, so to say. Most all accidents are due to excessive speed and impairment.
