I don't waste time with road rage, just pass you folks engaging in elephant races.

I'll keep this short and simple.
Those signs you see with a speed on them, that is the VERY MAXIMUM ALLOWED!!!
    It isn't the minimum speed.

    stillwurkin and Matt43324 Thank this.

Unless specifically mentioned minimum speed. Usually on the interstate you typically see minimum speed 40 or 45 miles per hour. So yes 40 to 70 mile-an-hour you're not breaking any laws, however there is a thing called impeding the flow of traffic, meaning keep right except to pass which a lot of people seem to misunderstand and think that the left lane as their own private Lane for whatever reason

    Correct.
As for 75 mph or more, well since the majority of trucks are on tires not rated for 75 mph or more, its rather ridiculous anyway that the trucks could even go that fast. But more so the distance to react, brake, swerve, stop or whatever goes up on a curve as speeds increase. So slowing down just a bit can save lives. If a truck could have avoided hitting a car by a small margin lets say while doing 65...it would hit it doing 70. Hit a car with a truck and those people in the car stand very little chance of surviving. I'm probably more sensitive than most people are about this topic, because it took the lives of my wife and daughter.

May drivers don't have a choice. Their trucks are governed. The best a driver can do with a governed truck is stay in the slow lane and be courteous.

Many company drivers don't have that option. Take a deep breath and you will get past them when the construction zone ends.

Most company drivers don't have an option to increase the speed and keep up. You just have to understand this.
