No it was just a quick change.the speed limit went from 60 to 40 quick.an I remember being in the left lane,a car was making a left turn, idk if I missed the speed limit sign or not but I never seen it.im normally paying attention to everything and in the right lane but by the time I got ready to get back in the right lane the police was behind me.

If you know you’re approaching a town why would you still be going 60+ when you can reasonably expect the speed limit to lower through the town?

details ... it matters where you got the ticket.

You may be sitting for 3 years friend. You either fight the ticket, no matter the cost, or you will need at least 3 years from the date of conviction before reputable companies CAN hire you.

In a CMV 15+ is considered Reckless Driving, no matter the wording on the ticket or in the state code. To every insurance company in trucking it is Reckless Driving.

No most megas are out of the question for 3 years from the date of conviction (date court recorded your payment).

If Averitt will hire you, go there. I worked for them for 18 years. I fear you misunderstand what Averitt told you, but maybe not.

That is the worst decision you made. Always get an attorney for tickets if you have a CDL. Now you are pretty much screwed in finding a company that can afford your insurance cost unless they are self insured.
