I don't know much about the U.S laws but up here a "Professional Driver Improvement Course" (P.D.I.C.) is good for 2 points off your record

truck driving schools are just like any other college, they will promise you the moon just to get your money. Once they get your money thats it, they train you and push you out and you never hear from them again. My trainer and I were on a road trip and a truck bobtailing the other way passed by us and started talking on the CB. My trainer started talking to him and the guy was saying how there is no work out there for us and blah blah blah, my trainer told him his boss told him they are not allowed to talk about that. Why is that? If all these people knew there was nothing for them after they got there licence they would have never done it in the first place.

All you other drivers with the Great Muscle cars of the Past! Yes those were the days. I did a bit of track racing at Spud Speedway in Maine back in 83 with a 63 Ford Falcon, We slapped a 8 in it and ran it for the fun of it. I was blacked flagged more than anything, I had more fun in Outlaw racing in the Late 70s instead.

Now for the Driving schools, Yes it is a shame when They don't disclose more up front when you apply. The school I went through weeded all those out the first day Before they had to do the payment plan. At least they could get out of school with out the big bucks being owed.

I know he took a defensive driving course in school I wonder if that would work?

In some states 25 over is an automatic suspension. Probably should have paid the judge enough to buy your excuse.

It does not take long to cover 70 miles :biggrin_25513: :biggrin_25513: when going 125 to 135.

My 00 diesel pickup wasn't quite stock and it would stroll right along if called upon. :D :D :D

A CDL holder cannot take any sort of classes to knock off a ticket.

That may work with a class C license, but with a CDL you are pretty much SOL with what ever the cop writes you.
