    Reverse racism?

    Say it ain't so.

But sadly it does happen. Sad state of affairs across the board.

It is not only experienced drivers trying to tell him but post from Swift drivers as well. I personally have never driven for Swift but I have worked with them in the management side. I will say you might have 30 drivers show up for orientation but after they are done digging through your back ground 10 might get hired and the rest sent home. I guess for most, maturity comes with age and he certainly has a long way to go with that mentality.:biggrin_25526:

Been driving for 5 months now, (nice winter to start). I work for a small outfit in Northeast Ohio, we haul logs out of the woods, veneer logs, and lumber.

I got a speeding ticket in West Virginia in some hee-haw little town called Gualey Bridge, for going 29mph in a 25 zone. The wanna be law enforcement guy, told me that it won't effect my CDL in anyway...I just need to pay the fine, which is a $150 bucks.

    Is this true?

If I had time, i'd go down to the dump and plead my case before the crooked judge and town.

As has been stated in this forum many, many times, by many, many people..
    ALWAYS FIGHT A TICKET.

You may end up paying the fine, anyway. Or, it could be pleaded down to a non-moving, and you pay THAT fine..

    Either way..

    ALWAYS FIGHT A TICKET

If your CDL was issued in Ohio, you should not incur any points on your license for getting ticketed for doing 29 in a 25 zone.

I would call the judge on a ticket like that. You was under 30 mph I would ask him to keep it off my MVR.I done this before in a respectful way always have respect they usally just want your money not to hurt your employment.
