You not only have a major violation, but an at-fault accident. If you don't want to hear what a bunch of internet people have to say, why ask the question here instead of asking your hallowed recruiter?

It doesn't work that way. -
i just wont mention the speed to my recruiter.the ticket is most not like coded anyways. The recruiter who I talked to already knows about the ticket and the accident and she said i will still qualify for employment

The thing I was told about DAC was that each company has to subscribe in order to use it, at least to submit data. I'm guessing to get unlimited reports, the same would apply.
That is why many small companies, where they see the driver in person, do not use USIS. They can't justify the cost in their own minds.
I would have asked where the violation occurred and the actual speed, 25 over in a 75 would be 100. 25 over in a 20 mph zone would be 45, I see that all the time, but I don't do it. Small towns with no local cop tend to have speeding like that. They also have county and state police set up speed traps from time to time. -
In a later post you said you have "a few" miles under your belt..does this mean you already have your CDL and have some experience? If so, right now Swift is not hiring "experienced" drivers, only graduates from their academies and a very limited number of contracted private schools...and their waiting list isn't moving real fast from what I have heard.
No BS, just the way things are right now..these mega carriers want to keep their overhead down, so they would rather pay $0.25 cpm to the new solo, (they just reduced the solo drivers 1 cent across the board) this way keeping their profit per mile higher in their pocket..not hte drivers. Sorry for the not so good news..but lke I said NO BS!
Good luck on your search! -
well from reading swift's policies, they clearly state that they dont want no more than 2 "MOVING" violations in 3 years. So it sounds like Im still good, plus what would the speed matter.I could have two of the same 25 over tickets and still be qualified for employment.I just wanted to reassure myself. You guys kind of intimidated me for a while but after reading the no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years it sounds pretty good to me as far as me getting hired.

landstar I wish you the best...but you're in for a let down friend.
You are doing your best to overlook the fact that 25 mph over is a major violation...Swift's safety department won't overlook it...and the recruiters dont know or even care.
They will let you get there for orientation...then send you home. For your own good, talk to them about this (in depth) before you go.
